Recorded in 1995 at the legendary Hopefield Farm studio where 20/20 Vision started, Raptures became the first record to spark imaginations internationally, gaining the support of Stacey Pullen, Chez Damier, Ron Trent and Derrick Carter.

Raptures of the Deep can be viewed as one of the first tech-house records, although that genre would no longer be recognisable for the record now. Raptures fuses a love for Detroit techno with house music beats being played by Ralph Lawson and Huggy (Paul Huggett) at their back-to-basics residency.

This edition features the original artwork and remastered original recording alongside a previously unreleased dub version courtesy of Ralph Lawson and the highly sought-after Craig Richards remix originally released in 2002 and a firm favourite of Raresh & Rhadoo.
